I’ve spent most of my career in air medical transport, and I have deep respect for the incredible work being done in that space. But what I saw, both professionally and personally, was that not every patient needs an air ambulance. When someone doesn’t, there aren’t many options, especially ones that feel comfortable, private, or personal.
The idea for Air Nurses came when I was trying to find that solution for my grandmother. She didn’t need emergency care, but she did need a nurse. What we found instead were stripped-down medical flights that didn’t match the level of care, peace, or dignity she deserved. That experience stayed with me.
With over 15 years as a critical care flight nurse and a background in air medical leadership, I knew we could offer something more, something different. That’s why I started Air Nurses.
We provide a concierge door to door service with our board-certified flight nurses to accompany clients on private or chartered flights, offering medical oversight that is discreet, professional, and grounded in compassion. Our clients often include those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or simply seeking peace of mind while traveling.
My mission isn’t to replace air ambulances. It’s to support the space in between where medical oversight is still essential, but comfort and privacy matter just as much. Air Nurses is for those moments. I’m building a team that reflects that same standard of care I wanted for my own family.
